Art by Rachel Genito

Rachel Genito, BFA Illustration ‘26 is an illustrator from Hudson, New York whose work explores the complexity of femininity, aging, and identity. Inspired by Dante's Inferno, this work aims to illustrate the beauty, haunting, and messy life of the idealized female experience. Drawing upon references to internet culture, and illustrations of witches in western culture, this work spirals into the weight of what women are constantly expected or surrounded by.
