By imaging the complexities of femininity and the nuances of female identifying lived experiences, I show an array of different moments, snapshots, and “distinct” memories and/or spaces that elicit a feeling of familiarity. I make images as a

way to explore the representation of my female identifying friends and those close to me, who I have an intimate platonic or romantic relationship with. I construct figures that challenge traditional notions of identity and invite viewers to engage with the fluidity of embodiment. The images exist in the tension between visibility and concealment.
